A Note from Debbie: I always knew I would be a "natural" mom so when my first child was born, it was just right to cloth diaper him. I continued cloth diapering with my second child 7 years later. When I had the opportunity 11 years later to run my own in home day care I again chose to cloth diaper those babies in my care. Now as a grandmother of two I am proud of my daughter who knew from her first child she would cloth diaper her own children. It's something we feel very strongly about; not just for the environmental costs but financially it just makes sense to cloth diaper! I recently decided to plan what kind of work I would do after I gradually wind down my career as a professional nanny. I have always been creative and sewed newborn clothing with my first child so creating my own cloth diapers seemed the perfect choice. I did lots of research, found out where to buy supplies, then pulled out my sewing machine and went to work! I've definitely found my calling, I LOVE creating cloth diapers and have developed a bit of an obsession with finding new materials and updating patterns and techniques to make the cutest cloth diapers I can!
